Meet Your Kanga HostYour host, Maggy, is a warm-hearted woman and passionate cook who will introduce you to the rich flavours of Tanzanian cuisine. She loves to share her knowledge of traditional animal keeping and you’re welcome to participate in the care of the family’s chickens, goats and cows.

Her sons William and Johnson, her daughter-in-law Janeth and their lovely grandparents will welcome you with open arms and true Tanzanian hospitality. Janeth’s little son, Elwini, will be your cheerful companion as you explore the surroundings.

Your AccommodationYour stay will be in a cosy little house tucked away among giant banana trees. The peaceful environment invites you to relax, enjoy the fresh air, listen to birdsongs and take in the beauty of nature. The house features your private guest room, a dining area and a terrace, where you can unwind with a cup of chai or self-made coffee. The heart of Kisanga Homestay is the kitchen house, a rustic space, shared with the family’s goats and kettles, creating a serene ambiance. Here, you’ll get a close look at rural Tanzanian life, surrounded by the comforting sounds of crackling firewood and soft animal murmurs.
